Girls Soccer Worldwide
As most of you may realize, Soccer has an extremely large impact on Trinity's life. During her time at Tracy High School she found a love fore giving back to her community. Trinity helped in three non-profits through all of her four years in high school. She absolutely fell in love with the Girls Soccer Worldwide non-profit. As she volunteered with the non-profit organization, Trinity became a Grass Roots Ambassador and Leader. Trinity was blessed with the opportunity to help encourage girls raised in poverty right here in Livermore, California. Many times we are too blind-sided to see the poverty living around us. Trinity saw the light within the young girls she worked with and focused her energy on them. Over the course of a year Trinity and other Ambassadors would talk to the young girls about very important topics like; self management, self empowerment, and self gratitude. At first the topics were hard for the girls, but with the help of all the ambassadors they understood exactly the intentions of the topic. They wanted these young girls to understand that they are important, they are strong, they are worthy of the opportunity that life brings them, the are girls! Trinity felt that this hot close to home because we don't give the needed attention to children living in these circumstances. Many turn a blind eye to this but Trinity acknowledges it and helps the girls building into strong young women. |
The Love Of My Life
Where do we start with Trinity and her love for soccer? Well, we can begin with when she started playing the sport. Trinity starting playing soccer at the age of 5, here in Tracy, California. From that point on her love for the game has taken flight. At the age of 8 she started playing competitive soccer for West Coast Soccer Club based out of Livermore, California. During her years she developed individually as a player and a student. Soon later Trinity found her forever home with Pleasanton RAGE, an all girls club based out of Pleasanton, California. This is where Trinity really took her game to the next level. From her eighth grade year to her senior year in high school is where Trinity took her soccer career to a completely different level. This is where she would become the first in her family to attend a University and get an athletic scholarship. Trinity kept the sport very close to her heart by volunteering with Girls Soccer Worldwide. Soccer has impacted Trinity's life very dramatically. She learned to become a leader and not just any leader one who is cautious of her actions, one who take responsibility, and one who encourages the ones around her through her actions and words. Trinity took the lessons she learned on the field and used them to her advantage in the classroom as well. These lessons also helped her become an impact in her school and her community. Trinity feels that soccer has been the backbone to who she is today. |
